Next-Generation Food Workshop

Overview

While new technologies centred around plant-based meat, cultured meat, and precision fermentation have gained attention as alternative protein sources, there are growing concerns over delayed market growth and reduced funding. Several factors contribute to this, and our company identifies some of the primary reasons as follows:

  • Delays in the development of mass production technologies and cost reduction methods
  • Challenges in presenting a compelling value proposition for alternative proteins
  • The complexity of the product development because of the wide range of required technical elements

To overcome these challenges, we have launched the "Next-Generation Food Workshop."

  • Overview: This workshop invites startups and companies involved in next-generation food technologies such as cultured meat, cellular agriculture, and alternative proteins. It aims to foster networking and discussions with business corporations and investors interested in this field. In addition to manifesting new business opportunities, the goal of this workshop is to build a consortium that brings together all key stakeholders.
  • Schedule: Every three month, on the second Wednesday of the month from 16:00 – 18:00
  • Location:Our Tokyo Office at Suidobashi(4F FORT Suidobashi III, 2-8-11 Kanda-Sarugakucho, Chiyoda, Tokyo)
