University-Bases Startup Support

  • Comprehensive support for commercialization, from the formulation of business models before the establishment to the search for partners and management. Also provide support for the creation and expansion of university-based startups as a promoter of JST's entrepreneur support (former role), and as a NEDO catalyst/AR
  • We train business development personnel using our own unique method that combines e-learning, workshops and OJT, based on the know-how we have gained through our own business development support.

Venture Investment

  • We invest primarily in startups at seed and early stages. Post-investment, we provide hands-on support using our and our group’s resources. We invest in both Japanese and overseas businesses.

Case Study

Acceleration Program

Africa-focused program targeting overseas fundraising, including mentoring, master classes, business matching and negotiation support.

Indonesia-focused program, in partnership with Plug and Play Indonesia, supporting fundraising from SE Asia and Japan by providing mentoring, master classes, business matching and negotiation support.

A project adopted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government as part of the TOKYO SUTEAM program. It is aimed at helping companies expand from Southeast Asia to Japan and from Japan to Southeast Asia by providing mentoring and master classes, business matching and negotiation support, and subsidizes travel expenses.

Entrepreneurship Education (JICA Project)

Supporting transfer of Japanese entrepreneurship education methods to Tunisia through JICA’s grassroots project. Through this initiative, we aim to promote entrepreneurship, increase employment opportunities, and boost greater women’s participation.

Human Resources Development

The project aimed at transferring know-how for creating university-based startups for university industry collaboration headquarters. For universities affiliated with each platform that has been adopted by the JST Startup Ecosystem Co-Creation Program(>>website<<),we support human resources development through OJT and workshops, as well as the commercialization of each technology seed as a commercialization promotion organization.

Kyoto Agribusiness Support Fund

A Public-private fund made up mainly of regional banks and credit unions in Kyoto Prefecture focused on local agribusinesses in Kyoto. Invested in four ventures and offered comprehensive support (such as management support in collaboration with organizations related to agriculture) to help the growth of local agriculture, forestry, and fisheries.
