TSI, in collaboration with Tsucrea Co., LTD, is hosting the Japan Startup Pitching Event on March 19th, 2025 (Wed). For those who are interested to know or partnering with Japanese startups, please join us online.

Eight companies from Japanese planning to enter the SEA market selected by the Japan Connect Initiative (JCI) program will be presenting during the event.
All pitches are in English.

VRITIMES
A press release distribution company that enables local businesses and organizations in Southeast Asian countries to distribute press releases to local journalists with overwhelmingly low prices, suitable for SMEs. The platform has over 2,000 clients with more than 3,000 press releases distributed.

Creative Minds
Focuses on international business development, consulting, consumer promotion and product licensing and marketing, program sales and also a content producer with strong international connections. Recent Creative developments include the production of “Tohoku School Trip with Si Juki”, “KIKO in JAPAN” which is a licensing business collaboration combined with travel in Japan. 

DELIGHT
Automates incoming and outgoing phone calls, supports customer care operations with a multilingual phone bot that supports 34 languages, supports more than 10 levels of conditional branching, and can be started risk-free from ¥12,000 per year.

Kotozna
Leverages AI to break the language barrier across industries. Its solutions deliver precise, real-time communication, allowing businesses to engage effortlessly with diverse audiences. Whether through text, voice, or avatar, Kotozna’s AI ensures a seamless and inclusive communication experience for all.

Episotech
Offers video and AR procedure manual system for on-site work-based businesses. The company has already to on-site DX promotion for many customers in the manufacturing, logistics, and facilities/equipment service industries, and have created an environment for new staffs to catch up quickly.

Chinougijutsu
Developes and manufactures AI-based sensors that can scientifically and quantitatively detect abnormalities and age-related deterioration that inspectors cannot find, for plants with large sites and complex arrangements of equipment. Clients include ENEOS, Hiroshima Gas, Tokyo Electric Power Company, who have adopted the technology to save labor and reduce accidents at their plants.

Endophyte
Researches and produces DSE (an endophytic fungus isolated and selected from nutrient-poor forest soil) for planting under challenging conditions. It can coexist symbiotically with the roots of all plants, improves their environmental stress resistance and promote nutrient absorption, thereby enabling plants to perform more efficiently.

Peel Lab
Manufacturing leather from fruit peels from juice factories. More than just an alternative to leather, it actually contributes to the environment by reducing waste, emissions and other pollutants that impact the planet. As of 2022, the company helped reduced 1500kg of CO2 emissions during the creation of its leather, with 800m of pineapple leather manufactured.

JCI is a program backed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, that supports startups from Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Malaysia who are looking to expand  to Japan, and startups from Japan who are looking to expand to the four Southeast Asian countries, with the aim of building a sustainable cross-border ecosystem between Tokyo and Southeast Asia.
